Fortnite is about to host its FNCS Finals for Season 1 of Chapter 2, and, while Epic hasn't done a great job promoting it, the developer is offering two free gifts for those who tune in to the action as it unfolds. Below we'll reveal the event's schedule, start time, standings and how to get a free Banner and Spray to show off your intense esports fandom.
When does the Fortnite FNCS Finals Start?
Like many Fortnite esports events, the FNCS Finals are segmented by region. Here are the start times for each series of heats in North America.
NA East
- Heat 1: December 6 at 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. EST
- Heat 2: December 7 at 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. EST
- Heat 3: December 7 at 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. EST
- Heat 4: December 7 at 7 p.m. to 1 p.m. EST
- Grand Finals: December 8 at 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. EST
NA West
- Heat 1: December 6 at 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. EST
- Heat 2: December 7 at 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. EST
- Heat 3: December 7 at 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. EST
- Heat 4: December 7 at 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. EST
- Grand Finals: December 8 at 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. EST
How to Watch the FNCS Finals
Epic isn't hosting its own live broadcast of the event, but the NA East Practice Server will be streaming some festivities featuring MonsterDFace, BallaTW and more. As you'll see in the process for getting the free FNCS Banner and Spray, several participants will be hosting their own matches as well. See the full and massive list of participating Squads here.
Fortnite FNCS Finals Standings, Rules & Prizing
The Fortnite FNCS Finals will follow a traditional FNCS rule format:
- Six Matches per stage
- Victory Royale: 15 Points
- 2nd: 12 Points
- 3rd - 4th: Nine Points
- 5th - 6th: Six Points
- 7th - 8th: Three Points
- Each Elimination: One Point
Prizing will be awarded as follows:

- 2nd: $75,000
- Third: $60,000
- Fourth: $45,000
- Fifth: $37,500
- Sixth: $30,000
- Seventh: $22,500
- Eighth: $15,000

How to Unlock the FNCS Finals Spray & Wrap
A special feature for the FNCS Finals is the addition of a unique FNCS Spray and Wrap gifted to Twitch viewers through the Twitch Drop loot delivery system. To get your free goodies, follow these steps.
- Enter your Epic credentials at the account link page.
- Select the option to connect your accounts
- Input the credentials of your Twitch account.
- When the account is linked, you'll see a message that reads "Drops enabled! Watch for a chance to earn loot." while watching supported streams.
- If the link doesn't work, you'll see a message that reads "Enable in-game Drops with Account Link." Said link will bring you to the above-linked account link page.
Banner: Watch 20 minutes of a stream on the channels listed below on December 6 or December 7.
Spray: Watch 20 minutes of a supported stream on December 8.
