How do I get the activation code for Novant MyChart? ›

If you were not issued an activation code, you may call your primary care clinic to get one or ask to sign up during your next office visit. Alternatively, you can visit NovantMychart.org and click SIGN UP NOW and follow the instructions under No Activation Code? to Sign up Online.

For your security, your activation code expires after a set period of time and is no longer valid after the first time you use it. If you still have problems, email us at MyChartSupport@DoNotUse.DoNotUse or call our MyChart Patient Support Line at 1-228-809-6068.

If you try to log in unsuccessfully too many times, you might be locked out of the account. In this case, you won't be able to reset your password yourself. For help resetting passwords and regaining access to your account, please reach out to your healthcare organization's MyChart support desk.

If you have an email address on file then your MyChart Username will be sent to your email account. If you do not remember any of this information, or you do not have a valid email address on file, you must call MyChart Technical Support at 216.444.1740 or toll-free at 1.866.915.3383 for assistance.

What do I need to use MyChart? You need access to a computer or mobile device connected to the Internet and an up-to-date browser (such as Edge, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari). You can also use the MyChart mobile app on a mobile device.

Understanding MyChart messaging

Multiple members of your care team may view MyChart messages in order to get an appropriate and efficient response; this may include nurses or advance practice clinicians other than your primary care provider (PCP).

Why don't I see all of my lab results in MyChart? Your lab results for most tests are automatically released same day. There are some results that are exceptions and your provider will contact you outside of MyChart with those results. The test results page defaults to show only test results done at clinic locations.

You will access all of your information across all organizations in this single MyChart account. If you decline consent to share your information with affiliated partners, you will have multiple MyChart accounts: one for each organization, each with its own username and password.

Hints on your password

Your password is different than your MyChart username. It is also case sensitive and must be at least 8 characters long, contain at least one number, and one letter.

How do I reactivate my MyChart? ›

If you see an error message that your account has been deactivated, reach out to your healthcare organization's MyChart support desk for help with reactivating your account.

Or, if you were not issued an activation code, you may request one by going to Chart.MyUnityPoint.org, selecting "sign up now" and clicking "contact us to register." You will receive your activation code and information about how to complete registration within three business days.
