- A complex weapon with a sword & shield form and an axe form that both use a phial system.
- Sword mode boasts mobility and high guard capabilities, while axe mode boasts more powerful attacks. Store up energy while in sword mode, and then use it to deal high damage in axe mode.

Charge Blade is another example of a solid weapon that can make use of both elemental and raw damage. Charge blades are the powerful melee weapons that morphs between a sword shield combination and an axe making very versatile. For a back to back attack, equip a big C-PP Charge Blade. Especially at level 2, this weapon provides a 10% attack increase. With this build a Morphing Slash counter will not be needed to replace it for more damage.With this build,Diversionwill also be an ideal skill to equip, since it forces monsters to attack the character. Thereforegiving you the opportunity to CPP more often for maximum damage. Some monsters will position themselves in front of your character following a CPP. This will also give another opportunity to follow up with a super phial discharge, which an lead to a knock out or flinch magnamalo.
