A giant book list for every letter of the alphabet! (2)

We love doing a variety of activities for every letter of the alphabet. But our absolute favorite is reading books that showcase each letter. Sometimes we point out the letter; sometimes we don’t. The important thing is that we’re doing a lot of reading.

(Here’s the deal … reading these books probably isn’t going to help your child learn the letters faster than direct, explicit instruction. But reading aloud to kids has about a million benefits – more or less. 😉 So I like to find every possible reason to read aloud!)

When we were compiling these lists I reserved stacks of books from the libraryand read them at home with my kids. Onlyour favorites made it into our alphabet book lists! We hope you enjoy our recommendations and discover some new and vintage books you’ve never seen.
